Purification Methods

Recrystallise it from hot MeOH and dry in vacuo over P2O5. It has m 252o after sublimation at 210-215o. It is slightly soluble in AcOH, EtOH, CHCl3 or *C6H6. It is a fluorogenic substrate for albumin esterase activity.
